Singapore Airlines has a flight to Jakarta and Bali each added so there will be nine flights to Jakarta and Bali to four flights per day .
Previously , Singapore Airlines has only eight flights to Jakarta and Bali to three flights per day .
” The Indonesian economy is still in development and increases the demand for flights both business and tourism industry , ” Senior Vice President of Marketing Planning Singapore Airlines Lee Wen Feng said as quoted by Kompas.com .
Lee said that Indonesia is one of the most important markets for Singapore Airlines as it is reflected by the increase in the frequency of flights to Jakarta and Bali .
With the newly added flights , the airline now serves 63 weekly flights to Jakarta , while Bali is 28 flights per week .
Meanwhile, the Singapore Airlines ‘ daughter, SilkAir , also launched their newest destinations to Semarang and Makassar .
“These new flights will provide services . Different options for our customers , it will also be more convenient [ the customer ] to go to Singapore and other destinations in our network , ” he added .
